Press Release: EU AI Pact: These German Companies Are On Board
Halle, October 2, 2024
Anhalt Intelligence is actively participating in the EU AI Pact, a voluntary alliance of leading AI companies that is driving the implementation of the European Union’s new AI Act. As part of this network, Anhalt Intelligence is committed not only to promoting technological innovation but also to ensuring the safe and responsible implementation of AI solutions in the workplace.
This step is part of a Europe-wide initiative to promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), even before the legally mandated deadline of August 2, 2026. The EU AI Pact is structured around two pillars:
- Pillar I provides a network for sharing best practices as well as practical information on the implementation process of the AI Act.
- Pillar II encourages providers of AI systems to take early action to meet the requirements set forth in the law.
Maryke Tintel is the organization’s press spokesperson:
“The EU AI Pact gives us the opportunity to actively shape the future of AI. AI is a key issue that presents both opportunities and challenges. By participating, we can ensure that AI solutions are sustainable not only technologically but also ethically.”
Participation in the EU AI Pact underscores the strategic focus of the Anhalt Intelligence Network to position itself as a leading brand in digital transformation and artificial intelligence. As a result, Halle (Saale) is increasingly becoming a key hub for technological innovation in Central Germany.
