100 % Sustainable
Remote Work Tools that Make a Difference
Data centers and servers need a lot of power. ANHALT INTELLIGENCE takes advantage of electricity produced in Germany and from providers who generate their electricity from renewable and sustainable sources.
Support green IT with Anhalt Intelligence from Halle (Saale)!
The Power for our Servers:
100 % Hydropower!
The server locations of our partners are supplied by nearby run-of-river power plants. Each of these hydropower plants feeds around 30 million kilowatt hours into the grid in a year.
Certified sustainability!
Our data centers and platform partners are TÜV-tested and certified – for more sustainability and a better tomorrow!
100 % hydropower
We supply our data centers with power from hydropower plants in Griesheim, Enzberg and Gaggenau, among others.
Our power consumption:
up to 8x more economical!
With PUE values of 1.1 to 1.15 in our partners’ data centers, our power consumption is extremely low.
We bike for a better carbon footprint
Anhalt Intelligence travels by bike, public transport, hybrid vehicles. We also use mobility services such as Nextbike or teilauto. This is our contribution to a good carbon footprint.
Our goal: save 1.5 million tons of CO2 !
According to the Borderstep Institute, 700,000 cars or 1.5 million tons of CO2 per year could be saved across Germany by remote work and making video calls (instead of business trips)!
Regional power from Germany
Our data centers are powered by electricity from regional sources. No pipelines, no fossil fuels. Renewable energy from Germany.
Sustainability Board
Implementing ESG Criteria and Upholding our Values
Level 1: Sustainability Due Diligence
Identification of relevant sustainability criteria:
- Which ESG aspects are particularly relevant for the respective business area (data center, banking)?
- What specific sustainability goals has the company defined in this area?
- Orientation towards codes such as the RNE’s German Sustainability Code, Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence, the EU’s Supply Chain Directive (CSDDD) or the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Selection of suitable partners:
- Creating a list of potential partners
- Evaluation of the sustainability performance of potential partners based on the identified criteria
- Obtaining sustainability reports and certifications
Risk assessment:
- Identification of potential sustainability risks that could arise from the collaboration (e.g. environmental damage, supply chain problems, etc.)
- Development of measures to mitigate these risks
Level 2: Evaluation by the Board
Presentation of the due diligence results:
- The Sustainability Board receives a detailed presentation of the results of the sustainability assessment of potential partners.
Discussion and evaluation:
- The Board discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the individual partners, taking into account the company’s strategic sustainability goals.
- Questions are asked about transparency, accountability and long-term sustainability of the cooperation.
Formulation of recommendations:
- The Board formulates specific recommendations for the Management Board as to which partner should be selected and under what conditions the collaboration can be realized.
Level 3: Incorporation and Monitoring
Incorporating sustainability criteria in the contract:
- The sustainability criteria identified in the due diligence process are incorporated into the contract.
- Clear key performance indicators (KPIs) are defined that can be used to measure compliance with the sustainability agreements.
Establishment of a monitoring system:
- Systematic monitoring of the partner’s sustainability performance is set up.
- Regular progress reports are submitted to the Sustainability Board.
Review and adjustment:
- The Sustainability Board regularly reviews whether the partner continues to meet the company’s sustainability goals.
- If necessary, the contractually agreed conditions are adjusted.
