Press Release: Silver for Sustainability – ATLAS Wins at the Datacenter Strategy Awards

The cloud provider ATLAS Bildungskapital GmbH, based in Halle (Saale), was awarded a silver prize in the “Sustainability” category at the Data Center Strategy Awards. The award recognizes outstanding projects and strategies that drive digital transformation and create sustainable value for businesses.
ATLAS impressed the jury with its forward-looking sustainability strategy. All of the company’s data centers are operated entirely in Germany and use only 100% hydropower from regional, sustainable sources—specifically, ATLAS relies on run-of-river power plants. In addition, all data centers and partners are subject to a comprehensive sustainability framework developed by the company’s own Sustainability Board. This multi-tiered system ensures that all partners meet the company’s strict environmental standards.
